Russ created 5280 Fitness and Sports Performance from only two people in a park back in 2009. He has relied on his background of being a three sport athlete at a 4A high school in Missouri and successful career at Adams State. His career was cut short due to multiple shoulder injuries but during his time there he was able to one of the top players at his position in the country for two years in a row. All Conference selections and being in the top 10 of total tackles two years in a row are just a couple of his highlights. He takes the same passion he had for the sport and applies it to all his athletes young and old. His core belief of building a culture based on results and relationships spreads throughout the entire facility.


Liz Lucas

Prior to Lucas’ professional career in Germany, she had a distinguished career as a four year starter behind the plate for D1 Lehigh University (PA) out of the well respected Patriot League. Lucas, a two-time captain of the Mountain Hawks, left behind a legacy of excellence that included a team MVP Award, multiple All-Patriot League Selections, being voted a member of the D1 NFCA All-Region Team and an ECAC 1st Team Selection, as well as earning the prestigious Lehigh Senior Female Outstanding Athlete Award and Graduating Distinguished Achievement Award.

Bryan Hodge

  • Coached Genesee Rapids Baseball Team (Collegiate Wood Bat Summer Team)

Bryan is a Colorado native who has brought is love for athletics back to his hometown after a successful college career. He was a two sport athlete in high school with 6 different All-State selections and 4 Conference Player of the Year awards. He then took his talents to Houghton College and became a 4 year starter in the NCAA as the Highlanders catcher. During his time there he was a 2nd team All Conference and the Empire 8 Conference Sportsman of the Year
